Chef Gianni Caprioli
A native from the Italian city of Rimini, on the Adriatic Sea, Gianni debuted in a local seafood restaurant where he naturally developed a true passion and understanding of the produce. Prior to Hong Kong, Gianni broadened his knowledge and sharpened his skills throughout a culinary journey in Japan, the USA, Corsica and France, learning various techniques and recipes to sublime seafood.
The space at Fishsteria combines a relaxed bar and lounge area on the ground floor offering signature cocktails and a simple bar menu featuring rolls (lobster, shrimp, Wagyu), oysters and raw fish, while the upper is the dining level.
As you sip cocktails and feast on fresh oysters, take a look around and you’ll see that our entire design has been inspired by elements of the sea. The bar and communal table were constructed from the skeleton of a ship – and how cool is the upside-down boat on the ceiling?
