In preparation for both the Canadian Thanksgiving on 8 October and American Thanksgiving on 22 November, Porterhouse will be rolling out Thanksgiving-exclusive dinner menus, brunch specials and takeaway packages on selected dates.

Thanksgiving Dinner at Porterhouse on 8 October & 19-25 November
On 8 October (Canadian Thanksgiving) and 19-25 November (American Thanksgiving), Executive Chef Angelo Vecchio has prepared a feast for families and friends planning on celebrating Thanksgiving together. Those dining in at Porterhouse may choose from two Thanksgiving menu options, the first of which is ideal for larger family gatherings and the latter for more intimate events.
The impressive Thanksgiving Sharing Feast
Priced at HK$888+10% per person, requires a minimum of 8 guests and must be ordered 5 days in advance. In true Thanksgiving spirit, everything is made to share, from the starters of Roasted Squash & Ginger Soup and Cherry Tomato & Burrata d’Andria, to the mains of Pumpkin Risotto Carnaroli with crispy sage, Italian sausages, parmesan cheese and Amaretti biscuits, Grilled Global Seafood Platter featuring premium seafood such as Canadian lobster, Hokkaido scallops, Alaskan king crab, Spanish octopus and tiger prawns.
The showstopper main, the Roasted Whole Organic Turkey, is served with pickled lemon and homemade cranberry sauce, and sides of mashed potatoes, crispy bacon brussel sprouts, garlic and chili-sautéed spinach and more. Finish with a classic seasonal Pumpkin & Pecan Pie, made with mascarpone, cointreau and plenty of love.
5-course Thanksgiving Set Dinner
Priced at HK$588+10% per person and must be ordered 3 days in advance. Perfect for solo diners or those with smaller groups, the set menu offers an authentic taste of Thanksgiving within 5 delicious courses. Start with the comforting Roasted Squash & Ginger Soup and USDA Prime Beef Tartare with white mushrooms and mushroom vinaigrette, followed by a pasta dish of Pumpkin Pennette Lisce made with Italian sausages, baby spinach and black pepper.
For the main turkey course, chef Angelo Vecchio has prepared a Turkey Leg Roll accompanied by sides of herbed-mashed potato, sautéed baby vegetables and homemade cranberry sauce. The meal ends with a dessert of Pumpkin & Pecan Pie.
Both menus have the option of adding on “Fabulous Flow” (+HK$250/person) or “Fantastic Flow” (+HK$480/person) free-flow alcoholic drinks packages, with full details of drinks available on the menu here.
24-25 November, enjoy brunch with a special Thanksgiving spin of turkey carvings and Pumpkin & Pecan pies as dessert.
Thanksgiving Turkey Takeaway Package
For more traditional celebrants who wish to do Thanksgiving dinner at home without the work of cooking up a meal, special takeaway packages are also available at Porterhouse. Perfect for a party of 8, the takeaway package is priced at HK$2,838 and includes a starter of Roasted Pumpkin, a main of Whole Roasted Organic Turkey (approximately 6kg) and sides of brussel sprouts with crispy bacon, mashed potato, French beans & shallot dressing and garlic & chili-sautéed spinach. The dessert is a homemade Pumpkin & Pecan Pie with mascarpone & Cointreau foam.
For families in need of a last minute whole cooked turkey to take away, Porterhouse has got you covered. The Traditional Organic Turkey is priced at HK$888 and the Deluxe Truffle Turkey at HK$1088. All packages must be ordered at least 5 days in advance.
